Instagram finally lets you pinch to zoom

THE UNKNOWN Gadgets 685

We’ve all done it. Mindlessly scrolling through your Instagram feed, a photo stops you in your tracks with a small detail that you’d like to investigate more closely. Sadly, your pinch-to-zoom gesture has been met with static disappointment — until now.

Instagram today added the pinch-to-zoom gesture for both photos and videos. You can pinch to zoom when viewing your feed, any profile and the Explore tab.

Pinch-to-zoom is available now on iOS. According to Instagram, it will come to Android in the coming weeks.
